AAA TEAM EVALUATION'S THIS SUNDAY
2010 Summer teams Forming

FRAMINGHAM, MA-Coming off the programs most successful AAA tournament season the Bruins are starting to plan their 2010 season. In addition to putting together a schedule for each group and which tournaments the B's will go to they also had firmed up their open Evaluation dates/times.

Contrary to most people will tell you, there ARE openings at every position, at every age level.

Who plays on these summer teams and goes to these tournaments? Over 100 players currently playing college hockey have played on our AAA tournament teams in the past.

The Evaluation Sessions will again be at NESC in Marlboro, MA and will take place on Sunday, December 20. If you scroll to the bottom of the this article you see answers to Frequently Asked Questions about our Evaluation Sessions.

The dates for the Evaluations have been posted on our WEB SITE CALENDAR as well as at our AAA TOURNAMENT TEAM EVALUATION LINK.

07:10 PM-2000's and 1999's
08:10 PM-1998's and 1997's

The on ice sessions are an Evaluation process and not a traditional tryout. These are open to all who are interested in being considered for one of our teams. Every year we take players from our Evaluations Sessions to play on our teams and this year will be no different as it becomes increasingly more difficult to get out and see as many games as we would like to in the fall and winter months.

In 2010 we will have teams from the 2002 age level to midget and junior age players and go to tournaments such as Prospects, OTTF, Warrior Montreal Meltdown, Las Vegas, Icebreaker, Eastern Spring Showcase, Hub Cup tourneys, Eastern Junior Summer Showcase, Jr. Chowder Cup and others.

Additional information on each team can be found at our AAA Tournament Team links above as well as at these two links:

AAA TEAM FAQ

To register, please go to AAA TOURNAMENT TEAM EVALUATION SESSION LINK and print off an application and fax/mail it in with payment.

Pre-registration is STRONGLY encouraged as there is a limited amount of players we will take at each age group to participate in the evaluations.

With the Evaluation sessions just around the corner we wanted to update you with some answers to some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's). We have received dozens of calls and most have the same questions so we hope you find this information useful.

Is it too late to sign up and register?
No, you can fax applications as late as Saturday, December 19 by 12:00 PM . If you do not fax an application by that time you can bring the paperwork/payment with you and register in person. Pre-registration is strongly recommend.

Is it okay if my son can only make one night of Evaluation Sessions?
Yes, there are many players who can only make one session. Making only one session will not be held against players. We prefer to see players there at both sessions but understand there will be conflicts.

How many players will you take from these sessions?
That depends on the talent level that is there. Whether it is our summer team or our midget and junior team tryouts our motto is the same-"If a player is good enough we will find a spot for him in our program".

Are there still openings or have the teams been picked?
Contrary to what some will have you think, there are openings at EVERY position and at EVERY age group. There are players who have been invited to play on the team already but there are still openings for every age group.

Every year at EVERY age level there are players we take from these Evaluation Sessions. There are players we have never heard of or seen before that come out, impress us and play on our team(s). As said prior-"If a player is good enough we will find a spot for him in our program".

Are there still openings at the Evaluation sessions?
Yes, there are openings at every position and at every age group. The only position where we will turn players away at the Eval sessions is goalie. This does not mean there are no openings for the team, just no more openings for the Eval sessions. We can only accommodate a certain number of goalies to have on the ice at a time so please get your application/payment to us ASAP to secure a spot.

What is the Evaluation Session format?
The majority will be scrimmaging. After a short warm-up we will jump into scrimmage situations (cross ice, full ice, 3-3, 4-4, 5-5, etc.)

How many players are going to be there?
That varies by age but we expect at about 10-15 per age group.
