these sessions so please fax/mail application ASAP.
Location: New
England Sports Center, Marlborough, MA
***FYI-For those who are going to the Bell Cup: According to the Bell Cup web site there may only be 2-4 teams left playing during our Evaluation Sessions at each age group. Most teams will be out of the tournament by these dates. These are the only Evaluation Sessions we will have. None others are scheduled or will be scheduled. We strongly urge those who are interested in our team to be at the Eval Sessions.***
1992/1993 birth year players: If there is enough of an interest in players coming to tryouts we will rent the ice during these times. Interested '92's/'93's can mail/fax in an application and we will make a decision based on the response we get.
If you missed the Evaluation/Tryout sessions in December/January but are still interested in having someone from our staff watch your son play to evaluate him please send an email to CHRIS MASTERS and include the info requested above and that you would like to have someone come watch your son play. The cost for these evaluations depends on how far the staff member has to travel, time, etc.

AAA TEAM EVALUATION DATES POSTED
2008 Summer teams Forming
FRAMINGHAM, MA-Coming off the programs most successful AAA tournament season the Bruins are starting to plan their 2008 season. In addition to putting together a schedule for each group and which tournaments the B's will go to they also had firmed up their open Evaluation dates/times.
To take a look at AAA team alumni currently playing college hockey vist our ALUMNI REPORT
The Evaluation Sessions will again be at NESC in Marlboro, MA and will take place on December 31st and January 1st. If you scroll to the bottom of the this article you see answers to Frequently Asked Questions about our Evaluation Sessions.
The dates for the Evaluations have been posted on our WEB SITE CALENDAR as well as at our AAA TOURNAMENT TEAM EVALUATION LINK. The info is also at the very bottom of this article.
The on ice sessions are an Evaluation process and not a traditional tryout. These are open to all who are interested in being considered for one of our teams. Every year we take players from our Evaluations Sessions to play on our teams and this year will be no different as it becomes increasingly more difficult to get out and see as many games as we would like to in the fall and winter months.
In 2008 we will have teams from the 2000 age level to midget and junior age players and go to tournaments such as Prospects, OTTF, Warrior Montreal Meltdown, Las Vegas, Icebreaker, Eastern Spring Showcase, Hub Cup tourneys, Eastern Junior Summer Showcase, Jr. Chowder Cup and others. We are still finalizing our schedule and which tournaments we are going to with each age group.
Additional information on each team can be found at our AAA Tournament Team links above as well as at these two links:
AAA TEAM PHILOSOPHY
AAA TEAM FAQ
To register, please go to AAA TOURNAMENT TEAM EVALUATION SESSION LINK and print off an application and fax/mail it in with payment.
Pre-registration is STRONGLY encouraged as there is a limited amount of players we will take at each age group to participate in the evaluations.
With the Evaluation sessions just around the corner we wanted to update you with some answers to some Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's). We have received dozens of calls and most have the same questions so we hope you find this information useful.
Is it too late to sign up and register?
No, you can fax applications as late as Thursday, December 30 by 12:00 PM . If you do not fax an application by that time you can bring the paperwork/payment with you and register in person. Pre-registration is strongly recommend.
Is it okay if my son can only make one night of Evaluation Sessions?
Yes, there are many players who can only make one night. Making only one session will not be held against players. We prefer to see players there at both sessions but understand there will be conflicts.
How many players will you take from these sessions?
That depends on the talent level that is there. Whether it is our summer team or our midget and junior team tryouts our motto is the same-"If a player is good enough we will find a spot for him in our program".
We have added a trip to Las Vegas for a tournament in July and we will expand the normal scope of players that we take to that tournament so if you feel your son may not make our team, have him come out, because this year, we will take more players than in years past.
Are there still openings or have the teams been picked?
Contrary to what some will have you think, there are openings at EVERY position and at EVERY age group. There are players who have been invited to play on the team already but there are still openings for every age group.
Every year at EVERY age level there are players we take from these Evaluation Sessions. There are players we have never heard of or seen before that come out, impress us and play on our team(s). As said prior-"If a player is good enough we will find a spot for him in our program".
Are there still openings at the Evaluation sessions?
Yes, there are openings at every position and at every age group. The only position where we will turn players away at the Eval sessions is goalie. This does not mean there are no openings for the team, just no more openings for the Eval sessions. We can only accommodate a certain number of goalies to have on the ice at a time so please get your application/payment to us ASAP to secure a spot.
What is the Evaluation Session format?
The majority will be scrimmaging. After a short warm-up we will jump into scrimmage situations (cross ice, full ice, 3-3, 4-4, 5-5, etc.)
How many players are going to be there?
That varies by age but we expect at about 10-15 per age group.
