10 with Bruins’ Ties To Battle For Boston Bragging Rights
BOSTON, MA-The first two Mondays are special for the hockey community in Boston and that much more special if you are one of the players set to take the ice for Boston College, Northeastern, Harvard or Boston University to compete for the 2007 Beanpot title.
There will be ten players with Bruins ties that will look to bring home bragging rights for the year. Last year it was former Little Bruins and Junior Bruins (EJHL) forward Jason Lawrence who helped bring home his first Beanpot for BU.
Over at BC Pat Gannon (Junior Bruins-EJHL) and Ben Smith (Little Bruins and Junior Bruins-EJHL) will play Harvard in the nightcap against former Little Bruins Brian McCafferty and Doug Rogers.
At 5:00 PM it will be Jimmy Driscoll (Little Bruins and Junior Bruins-EJHL), Ryan Ginand (Little Bruins and Junior Bruins-EJHL), Chris Donovan (Junior Bruins-EJHL) and Jimmy Russo (Little Bruins) looking to unseat Lawrence and the Terriers.
