What are the Junior Bruins (EJHL)?
The Junior Bruins (EJHL) is the organizations top junior team. The team
was founded in 1991 as an independent junior team playing prep schools,
local junior teams and playing in major tournaments throughout North
America. In the summer of 1999 the Bruins joined the Eastern Junior
Hockey League and has been a member ever since. The EJHL is the top

6-7 with 2 goalies on the active roster.
The Bruins' home rink, the New England Sports Center, is within a two

program to Hockey East and ECAC schools in the EJHL. The schedule includes
45 EJHL regular season schedule plus three rounds of playoffs. From

US National teams (US NTDP) in an exhibition game along with some scrimmages
vs. local prep schools and participate in 4-6 major recruiting showcase/tournaments.
The team practices 3-4 times per week.
The team has had tremendous success since its first season (1991-1992)
winning numerous tournament championships, two EJHL regular season championships
and one playoff championship. The success of this team is also measured
in the development of its players and in the number of players that
move to college programs. From 1992-present the Junior Bruins have placed
over 100 players in college hockey and from 2001-06 more than 35 have
been recruited to D-1 college teams.
All practices and home games are all at the Bruins' home rink; the New
England Sports Center in Marlborough, MA.
The Junior Bruins are cognizant of the players' school schedule and
academic requirements and players can expect to miss only 3-5 days of
school over the course of the season.
