Former Bruin Pineault leads Team USA to title

Selkirk, Manitoba -Former Junior Bruins ’86 forward Adam Pineault scored the game-tying goal at 14:46 of the third period and added an assist in the USA Under-17 Team’s 4-3 overtime win in the gold medal game of the 2002 World Under 17 Challenge.

The game-winning goal was scored by Jeff Likens at 6:35 of overtime. Pineault, for his efforts was named Player of the Game.
